The Friday 56

Friday 56 is hosted by Tonya at Storytime With Tonya and Friends.
Why don't you join in the fun?
Rules:
* Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these
instructions on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the
comments section of Tonya's blog.
*Post a link along with your post back to Tonya's blog.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual.
Use the CLOSEST.
A husky woman yelled something at the men and shook a fist, but quieted when the dogs lunged, trying to get free of their restraints. The men laughed, and the angered woman snatched up a child off the old couch and fled.

What a great idea! Sort of like "Teaser Tuesday".

Page 56 is the end of a chapter with only 4 sentences...so I've chosen the beginning of the next chapter (which is technically sentence 5, right??)...here it is:

"Jenna didn't know whether to continue or run off in a panic. The pills in the beer had worked just the way Grace said they would, but now Gage seemed to be coming around."

Now I'll leave you hanging. LOL This is from "Loves Me, Loves Me Knot" by Heidi Betts.
