A provocative and savvy vampire, Alexandra Sabian moves to the sleepy hamlet of Jefferson, Mississippi—population 6,000, half vampires—to escape the demons lurking in her past. my thoughts~ Jeannie Holmes is a new to me author, and I can say that I am already reading the second book, Blood Secrets! I enjoyed Alex & Variak, the case they had to solve was complex, and even though I thought I knew who did it, I wasn't even close!
