my thoughts~ Well. Hmmm... I enjoyed Flirt more than I thought I would. It was a very short book (less than 114 pages on my Kobo) so it had the feel of a novella to me. There was basically 1 story line with no subplots, she only had sex with 1 guy. Very unusual. I hope LKH keeps it up. I have Bullet to read next (thanks to the Indianapolis Marion County Library!) and can't wait to see what it holds. I hate to say it, but I'm hoping LKH is returning to her earlier writing style.

Flirt by Laurell K Hamilton
Anita Blake meets with prospective client Tony Bennington and learns that he is willing to pay top dollar to have his recently deceased wife reanimated. But Anita knows that what would step out of the late Mrs. Bennington's grave would not be her former self, but a zombie.New in the #1 New York Timesbestselling series When Anita Blake meets with prospective client Tony Bennington, who is desperate to have her reanimate his recently deceased wife, she is full of sympathy for his loss. Anita knows something about love, and she knows everything there is to know about loss. But what she also knows, though Tony Bennington seems unwilling to be convinced, is that the thing she can do as a necromancer isn't the miracle he thinks he needs. The creature that Anita could coerce to step out of the late Mrs. Bennington's grave would not be the lovely Mrs. Bennington. Not really. And not for long.
